 Autumn Equinox |
The celebration of the equinoxes is an event conceived and organized by us which provides a variety of content of different types, all within the same initiative lasting three or four days. During the equinox festival we will lead you to know not only the ancient sacred sites of the nuragic peoples, but also give you the opportunity to experience yourself the reality of the very precise alignment of the sun rays that performed in the past and still can be found within these archaic temples. But there's more, you can get involved and live with us rituals that we have rebuilt and practiced during these sacred alignments of the sun and moon, so carefully and mathematically indelibly engraved on the stone over time. There will also be meditations, energetic exercises, explanations of historic, architectural and astronomical knowledge.
The Equinox is the festival in which our planet reaches the balance between the parties, neither too yin or too yang. In the two dates of 21 March and 23 September in fact, the bright sun remains in the sky for exactly the same time as the dark night. It reaches therefore in these two dates the hierogamy: the sacred marriage between the masculine and the feminine within us, necessary for the achievement of a spiritual human being. The two equinoxes are presented to us with two very different qualities: March 21 is celebrated on the exact date of entry of our sun in the zodiacal sign of Aries (the Ram), while September 23 is the date of entry into the exact opposite sign: Libra ( the Scales). This energetic difference produces a reaction and therefore a very different behavior of our planet in these two dates: the entrance in the spring and the entrance in autumn. The spiritual balance of spring is personal, explosive and needed in order to go through three months of food and expansive growth to reached the pinnacle of power in the summer solstice. The energy is here pushed from the inside out, from the earth to the branches and leaves in order to grow. The autumn one is actually the interpersonal balance, couple balance and also the wisdom and experience of an old lady who is ready to face the harsh winter of his life, picking up within itself the energies and storing them underground in order to impede dissipating them in the cold snow.
